'89 Taurus SHO washed and waxed this morning. didn't get around to claybarring or a proper polishing though, so its not as nice as it could be. - Wheels from a '91, center caps from a '94 - 3.2L engine from a '93 auto - 3.0L cams - lightened flywheel - bored intake - opened intake passage in fender - Quaifed, rebuilt transmission (less than 1000km ago) - Rod shifter from a '94 - Magnaflow high-flow y-pipe - Dynomax cat-back - 12" brakes with Cobra PBR dual piston calipers up front - Tokiko & Eibach and all new bushings - Rear strut tower bar Basically as things need replacing, I upgrade. The engine swap was a splurge though. Thanks, from first wash to final wipedown was about 8 hours and that included a couple 20-minute breaks and a fairly laid-back pace. I also clayed and did all the external trim, tires & wheels during that time too. |
