you mean stinky tofu? yea, they serve it at this taiwanese restaurant called Vogue, it's in Richmond next to the old Jack's loft. i personally haven't tried it but i sure smelt it when i was eating there.

Back in the day there used to be a place called Kent (Or Ken)'s Kitchen on Victoria .... the chefs left and one opened Vogue, the other opened Jing Yuan...


same foods, same quality.... Vogue has teh chicks, Jing Yuan sticks to the basics and just serves good food.

I believe Chopsticks is now occupying Vogue's old location (near Pearl Castle, right?).

No one can sell it anymore because people made a big stink about the stink. Sorry, bad pun.

i usually like going to kelvin's on victoria but last time i went i found hair in my food, they apoligized but didnt' even take the food away or replace it...got the bill and still had to pay for the dish.

Actually, I found 2 places that still has stinky tofu in Metro Vancouver. Of course nothing compares to the real deal in Asia, but I will goto one of these two places when I have a craving.

Golden Fortune near Joyce Sky Train Station - Hole in the wall place. I am still wondering how they survive, but they do have stinky tofu, and their hand-pulled noodle is amazing.

I tried out Dinesty, basically just deep fried tofu. Although the menu states it is Stinky Tofu. Maybe I'll give Golden Fortune a try sometime.

^ lolol their stinky tofu is a bit different than what my family is used to... I remember a long time ago, my dad bought some for grandma and she instantly threw it in the garbage saying it smells too bad, mind you she usually likes stinky tofu.
