Forget flickr, invest in a photo blog instead!

The photoblogging community is really fullfilling: instead of going to a third party website to get critiqued, you have people that visit YOUR work daily to comment and critique. Plus through rss syndicates, you can get a daily dose of your favorite photographers directly into your reader!

Dave on Chromasia (http://www.chromasia.com/iblog/index.php) gets over 40 comments average per each of his photos! He's created a cult following after himself with his work.

If the images are good enough, and the photographer active enough within the blogging community, then there are some serious benefits to be had.

haha thanks Joe. Flickr's easy user interface, and shere size of community is hard to beat. Plus it doesn't hurt to run a blog and a flickr account.


London's good. Working hard for a pretty penny. Soaking up some sun and, unfortunately, the British accent. Bloody hell.

Hopefully I'm coming back to Vancouver for a week in early September before going to Rwanda for three months. If I do swing into town, we should do a wings night! :)
