My necro is using almost entirely magic-finding items and I do fine in hell. Only boss that gives me trouble is baal; he takes a little while longer

Nope, when teh seasons over, your ladder character just becomes a regular non-ladder guy.. and all your ladder items will follow on to the non-ladder.. some of the items you can only get on ladder so when they go out onto normal mode.. they're supposed to be super expensive.. so i heard

basically you get a high level person to rush you through the game. To prevent this, Blizzard made it so you couldnt finish the last boss' quest until you did the Ancient's quest. With the Ancient's quest, you had to be lvl20 minimum for normal, 40 for nightmare, and 60 for hell in order to get the quest. Glitch rushing bypasses this, by having one person who has the Ancient's quest done in the game. They get rushed like normal, but when they get the quest, all of the other noobs waiting in town get the quest as well

if u happen to get rushed b4 then...

to lvl up fast, obviously get rushed to hell act 4 at least.
then just join games and party up in Chaos Sanctuary runs until lvl 60 or so. Then kill diablo (or get somebody to help you), do the ancients in hell (optional to kill baal). Then do baal runs until w/e level you wanna be at.

I did that until lvl 87 and now im just trying to find some decent stuff by doing countless MFing runs.

btw: this above is really fast...u can get from lvl 1-60 in about 2 hours if u find the games. I got to lvl 80ish in 2 days if my rush. ;)

I just started playing about 1.5 months ago :p I don't usually play games but I saw a trailer of D3 and it looked fun so I bought D2 to try out. I don't understand why ppl would actually pay real money for pixels LOL especially since this game is so easy. In a little over a month I already have lots of godly items for my hammerdin (hoto, enigma, hoz, anarch, etc) Although I am not really good yet; for some reason I can't host hell chaos games in P8 while I see lots of other hammerdin's doing the same without anyone else helping lol.

I find the fastest way to lvl up (lvl 1-80 in a few hours!) is to:

follow what dicecube said until lvl 25 then get some high lvl to rush u all the way to A4 in Hell (make games like rushme4forge or join games like baal4qnrush)

clvl 25-80: join Hell Chaos games.. you can probably get from clvl 25-80 in 1 hour lol; don't waste your time actually trying to lvl manually all those lvls, it'll take you forever lol.

clvl 80+: do Hell Baal runs

If you're starting out and have no good items, don't waste your time MF lol. I never did that once.. the best way imo is to just keep joining chaos runs in Hell mode, those monsters drop all the best stuff and a lot of times those runners will leave some really nice gear that they don't want cuz they already have all the best items. Then trade up or for gear that you need. :D

I think ladder is pretty much the same as non-ladder in terms of game play but you get ranked by how much exp and stuff you have.. but if u don't care about that u can still play ladder for all those ladder-only items (ie. fort runeword).
