It's supposed to work with Windows Sideshow but so far, nothing. Apparently the proper drivers from Microsoft aren't out yet so Asus uses it's own software.

not sure if those ones are wireless or not but logitech makes a nice set of speakers that come with "wireless" rear speakers. afaik, the only wires they have are from their power cords. might be a good option for you when you eventually get something figured out.

I think it really depends on what you use your computer for... I used to have a dual setup but I sold them both and got 1x22" which is good enough for me sice I only use my computer for movies and internet...

It's a 6 foot 3 Inch Kawai Grand Piano. Anything under 6 feet is typically considered a baby-grand, and anything over 6 feet long is technically called a concert grand. I guess you could say I own a tiny concert grand :p

The entire desk was custom made from two particle board shelves, a pile of aluminum pipes, plastic joints, and some nuts and bolts.

The light on the left was purchased at Ikea for $13. It's meant to illuminate picture frames on a wall.

The chrome lamp is from EQ3 on Granville Street. It is available for purchase for $40 every day.

I used parts that were originally intended to be for two music keyboard stands. They were a product from the late 80s made by a company that manufacturers speaker stands called Ultimate Support Systems. (They're still in business today)
The original stand design looks similar to my desk, but I modified its design to hold my equipments. Either way, it's a vintage 20+ year old piece of gear. I keep it in service to be unique. Plus, it looks uber cool haha.

Okay I'll bite too.

Here's my actual workstation, where I spend about 8 hours a day wondering just why technology hates me so much. Nothing crazy here, but I do have some nice monitors. The two side by side are 20" and 24", giving me a 3520x1200 desktop. The monitor on the left is another 20" 1600x1200 LCD, sitting on top of a brand new HP DL380 server which hasn't moved an inch since I took this pic a few weeks ago. On the other end of the desk which you can't see in the pic, is another 22" wide LCD connected to a laptop sitting under my desk, which is an internet machine using a seperate connection, so that I can avoid the corporate watchdogs and go on Facebook, etc all day.

I guess I can add my "home office" too, seeing as I do technically work from home some evenings on side projects. My cherished 17" Dell laptop is sitting on the table, and I often work while watching something from the 2500gb worth of TV shows and movies on the 47" LCD.

lol, alot of things are missing because i was in the middle of cleaning/dusting. my desk is usually littered with computer arts magazines and books, while my tv stand usually has about a dozen toy models standing on top of it. my collection of motorcycle helmets and and my painting (which i change every month) all provide color and a some type of focal point to the room. i think the white border around the picture and the way the picture was taken just make it seem worse then it is.

I have nothing against Apple - I have 2 or 3 products from them myself. Even the computers and OS are fine. It's just the people who use them that I can't tolerate :)
