birthday next month and I'm thinking of going to a club. whats a club good for birthday party with a bunch of friends? I would prefere a private lounge and stuff, something more than every other friday night going to a club and just drink and dance with some randoms. and how does the guest list stuff work? how do I book a club for birthday?

Caprice is a good choice if you want a private VIP area but you have to buy a bottle.

Or you can get put on the guest list and get 10 of your friends with no line or cover before 11pm i think.

Yeah caprice is really nice, although I've never been to a bday there. It's still 21+ on fri/sat though I think, unless you get the manager to make an exception. Not sure how it works with bdays.

I had my last birthday at Standard in New West. I talked to a club promoter there and he hooked up 150 tickets for free which I then sold off to my buddys for 10$ each and then gave all the money to BC Childrens Hospital. It was an awesome night and everyone liked the idea of donating the money to charity.

Boostaholic: He's going to get in touch with the manager and get the info for me or at least the contact number for whoever does that stuff. He did mention that he's not sure if they rent out the VIP area (he doesn't recall there being a "lounge area"). But he said he'd check into it for me and get back to me as soon as he knows.

Yeah, I got into caprice being only 19, with a couple of older friends. It's just generally supposed to be 21+ I guess. Seems like they're not too strict.

If you have trouble getting into Caprice, Crush is also a good place to go to. I think you can book tables there without ordering bottle service.

Hi there, Saturdays has been great at Mint, the Valentines event was completely SOLD out last night, and we are collabrating with Nuevo Productions this friday at Mint - cbc crowd, so if you are uncomfortable with the "super asian" crowd on fridays at fabric, this is a perfect opportunity to come out. =)
