My hair is getting pretty long now.
Past few years I've been going to Japanese salons to cut
but I figured I want to try something new. Japanese salons
cost too much and in a month, my hair grows too long again
for my molding hair clay to be effective.

Besides, my hair is usually medium length, making my japanese hair style choices quite limited. So I might as well go western style. The only place that comes up in my mind is "Great Clips" right now.

Any recomendations? I want to cut my hair by tomorrow, so
places that don't require appointment and located near metrotown would be appreciated.

12th and renfrew there is a place named "joanna's hair salon". It is right beside the pizza hut and the place charges $10 and its pretty good.

there is a place next to richmond 2000 supermarket .. is around 19 bucks after tips..

i have a routine basically through out the year.. grow out during summer break so is long. -> perm at japanese salon -> cut at japanese salon -> cut at cheap salon the prep for summer perm again..


but yes i agree, for a guy, 35 bucks a month is not work hair cutting , unless you have long hair style

I go to this one near Kwantlen Richmond on Lansdowne and Cooney. Kent's Hair and Beauty Salon, only opened up like 2 or so months ago and only the owner does the cutting. $19 (before tip) for cut, wash and style, $10 (I believe) for just a cut. He does a pretty good job IMO.

i spent $20 on a clipper to buzz cut my hair. feels like it's breaking down but that's $20 a yr for haircuts. go to london drugs and buy a clipper to cut it yourself. you can't screw up a buzz cut.

I went to the salon at metro beside Sport Chek. I had cutted my long asian hair there into a fauxhawk. After tip and all it was under $30

what you need to do is find a viet girl at some less known place, have lots of faith in her, and leave her good tips

keep coming back and start to build an actual relationship and talk, and pretty soon you'll get it at discount prices or even for free

Hair Masters is pretty good as well. Regular Men's haircut is like $18 and they do a pretty good job. btw they always have good specials or promotions so often enough you can get a really good price. I've been going there for awhile now and IMO they're 8/10.
