I actually thought last episode was horrible. The ending got better. If you think about it, the only reason why most people watched house was because of the epic diagnostics and shit. But since after the writers strike, its more centered around house and his relations. I swear, they got new script writers. Compare the episode before the writers strike and the episodes that air now. They have totally different concepts. I think House is dying. I hope they change it back after next week.

I just did a wiki search of Amantadine and its used as a flu drug. Kidney Damage from the crash prevented teh drug from being passed out the body and I'm guessing it led to toxicity that way.

Approaching executive producers David Shore and Katie Jacobs, Penn expressed his desire far in advance, which allowed the writers to craft his exit in an organic way - with a sudden, inexplicable suicide!

In regards to his new job, Penn said he'll be "the associate director in the White House office of public liaison. They do outreach with the American public and with different organizations. They're basically the front door of the White House. They take out all of the red tape that falls between the general public and the White House."

As far as approaching David and Katie, Kal "remembers David saying, "Are you telling me that you're unhappy with the show and that you want to leave so you can go off and do a different show?" And I was like, "Not at all. I'm actually saying the exact opposite, which is I'm having an incredible time, but there's something aching in me to do something completely different and take a break from the acting thing for a while." And with their blessing, we were able to work it out."

Her disease is probably acting up. I thought the finale was really well made. The last couple of minutes were really really well made. Can't wait till next season!

The cutty/house storyline was not so great post-breakup, until the last episode at least. I'm kinda glad they are replacing her, it gives house a whole new foil to work against.
