where can i get crutches
I know London Drugs rents them out, but where can I buy them? And how much?

bumping an old thread.
i spraind my ankle real bad playing bball tonight, worst ive had so far,
its getting harder to walk and put weight on it. putting ice on it now but
If its gets even worse tomorrow morning, im thinking of getting some crutches
will hospital lend them free? (eagle ridge hospital is my closest one) if so, where do i go to get one, emergency?
do London drugs still rent them? free/how much?

I remember getting mine from St john's hospital and I had to pay for them. But the hospital said you can return the crutches and get back your money (pretty much like a deposit)
Call up your local london drugs and shoppers drug mart and ask before making the trip. They might not have your size in. No, it's not free, lol.
If you can't put weight on it, go see the doctor.
Google up Lancaster Pharmacy, there is one near the old London Drugs on Broadway and Willow(?) and one just 10 minutes past metrotown.. they specialize in medical equiptment. If you want to go with big chain pharma, the Shoppers underneath the diamond center (@ VGH) also has a lot of medical equiptment (crutches, canes etc.)

Go to Parker Place to rent crutches
Only costs a few dollars for a week. Ridiculously cheap
