I really enjoyed RE4. The Wii made it different with the aiming. The remote made for easier headshots, imho. It was hard playing it for more than an hour at a time because it was too intense for me haha. Going into this kind of game, completely blind, is nerve-racking. :)

I remember I was playing biohazard 4 on wii, They speak in english with japanese subtitiles but the menu and item descriptions is in jap. Overall the game is pretty straight forward,, I beat it without any hassle, great game overall.

Exactly what I try to tell everyone. To be on the opposite side of the complaints, I like this system even more!
You can't hide behind a menu screen anymore, you have to plan every move ahead of time. I just don't like how the zombies run up to you, then just stop. That needs to be changed

probably ur dvd rom is having problems, try standing up the console or putting it on its side, but dont do it while its reading lol, or the disc will get scratched.

total hours spent spent on the game was arnd, 15hourish, i'm guessing that 8hour doesnt include watching the cut scenes and fiddling arnd with the menu.

dont bother getting unlim ammo for the handguns, cause once u get the magnum guns+unlimited ammo, u wont be using ur handgun anymore. if i could choose again, i would spend my money and exchange points on the 1 mangun, 1 sniper, and 1 shotgun. actually u dont really need the shotgun once u get the mangun maxed out cause it's like 3000dmg while a maxed shotgun only does 900. lol

oh and if u guys can manage to get under 5hours for the actual game play time, u can buy the rocketlauncher in the next game with unlimited ammo. doesnt matter what diffculty it is, just has to be under 5 hours. and dont bother spending money buying guys, spend all ur money on upgrading specific gun. do this if it's ur first game play, or else u wont get enough money to upgrade the gun to the max for the end. then after u finish the first game play, unlock the unlimited ammo for which ever gun u have maxed out, then go back to certain levels to farm for gold, then u can upgrade other guns.

and in order to get unlim ammo, u have to beat the game ONCE, u can find the unlimited ammo feature under the bonus menu, which u use exchange points to acquire. diff amounts of points r needed for diff guns. oh and if ur gun is not upgraded to the max u will not be able to get the unlim ammo for that gun.

For the stun baton, you just need to dodge the first attack for those zombies. Zombies that have projectiles, you just zigzag and run near them- those guys can't aim for shitz.

they can upgrade their guns (at the end of every chapter, you get a chance to upgrade/buy), you cannot exchange/give away guns online. You keep everything you find during all online story-mode games (golds, guns, treasures, etc)

There's no merchant, but you get the chance to upgrade and buy stuff after every chapter, even when your not in game. Go to continue, then just hit item management.

I haven't tried online play yet, but it's fun just to play with someone other then a robot.

both gets the full amount. say chris picked up 300 gold, both players gets 300 gold. same goes with treasures.

also note that, you have to beat all chapters on veteran to unlock professional difficulty

for merc mode, you need to get at least rank B to unlock the next stage (rank A gets you new char to use in merc, rank S gets you like 3k pts)

for ps3, so far an easy way to wrap up gold (to upgrades/buy weapons) is to do ch 3-1 or just keep doing the first merc stage if you can get rank A or higher everytime)

3-1 is easy for people that hasnt unlocked any unlimited ammo guns yet as it doesnt require fighting, but it's annoying since u have to drive the boat arnd the islands. if u have unlimited ammo for a powerful gun like the magnum or shotgun, i suggest playing 5-3. u get 1 diamond(3K) from the safe, then u kill 1 - 4 reapers while yields power stones which is 5K each, then u fight off a few dudes with rocket launchers, go into the room and grab the necklace. total gold farmed is 10K above to 20K+ depending on the reapers u get. this lvl is only good if u have like a magnum or shotgun with unlim ammo. and ofcourse, do in in amateur mode to make things easier.

also, chapter 1-2 is a easy way to farm exchange point, which is needed to unlock the unlimited ammo for guns. just run through, kill a few zombie on the way, and kill the boss to get S rank, 2K points each in vet mode.

chapter 1-2 is best for farming points, remember to do it in vet mode, as vet mode nets u 2K pts, 1.5K pts for normal, and 1K pts for amateur. kill some zombies on the way, dont have to kill all of them, but enough to ensure u have S ranking.

chapter 5-3 is best for farming gold, lots of treasure to pick up, and also killing reapers drops u the heart which is 5K each.

I'm so glad I didn't but this game. I played it tonight for the first time and I gave it about 3 hours but I seriously cannot get into it. The game seems cool and if I was playing it with a keyboard/mouse I'd probably love it. As is I cannot stand shooter type games on a console. They are dropped randomly at places, I know you get the white egg +brown egg from the chickens and snakes. Rotten egg is dropped randomly from the dogs I think. You basically just only need 1 Rotten egg to begin with, and have a partner to do it with. If you have 1 egg just basically start the game and give your partner the egg (in-game), when he quits the game,, he press yes to save and stuff for the inventory. On the other hand, you will press no to save when it asks you about keeping the inventory stuff (because you want to keep the egg that you have before.)

Get Him or you to invite back to the game and you will see yourself having the egg that you gave him and that you didn't lose the egg. Is basically a duplicate cheat. Now that you both got a rotten egg, one of you should be the carrier for the eggs. Tell your partner to give you the egg (At the Organize page) so that you get 2 egg. Once you have 2 eggs, start the game.. and give him the 2 eggs (in-game). He saves the game, you don't. Repeat these steps, til you reach 1000 rotten eggs. 500 for each of you. 500 rotten eggs= 1mill. Why choose rotten eggs? Because they are the best resell value eggs in the game, 2k each. You might all think this will take forever to get 1000 eggs but is not long at all. Once you built up to the max inventory storage that'll be 45 eggs each trade.5 eggs max each slot and up to 9 slot. Do it fast and this should be under a hour. More details, if you search on youtube. I wouldn't suggest doing this, only if you don't want to waste your time and want to upgrade all weapons to the max.:haha::thumbsup: hope this helps.

true the xbox seems easier, but is not that of a hassle. All it takes is to get a friend to do it with you. Best Chapter to do this with a friend is on chapter 1-2 because there is no cut scene. Only hassle part is that you got to create game invite him back every time after giving the eggs.

i once played with a dude from quebec i think, they were speaking french, then i go and kill them, they're like (with heavy french accent) "DUDE MANG, stop shootn me, dont kill me mang, what the hell mang" cause i keep on killing them while playing TEAM SLAYERS. THEN he gets pissed off and takes out the rocket launcher (chris's safari costume) and shoots me, but both missiles missed me, so i continued killing him. LOL

I guess u havent played team survivor bro.. your objective is to kill other players. You don't get points for killing the zombie, you hit other human player for points and if they hit you, you will lose points.

I think is great overall but there are many ways capcom could change it up to make it better. The slight lag issue + animation lag.. is the down point of the versus mode. I have tried to shoot some people while they are running and it seems that it doesn't hit them, is not like I'm missing or anything. The only time i could hit them is when they are standing still. Also when the other team is getting resurrected, you know how when you are dying, your partner comes and stabs something to make you stop losing health.. that part has major animation lag because every time they do that,, there's a few second you can't shoot them for til they are done healing,, I've been in a situation where they guy kept healing his frd over and over.. we were just laughing on the mic.
Obviously you can't compare this add-on to any other shooter games out there. You can't run and shoot, most of the things is done by standing still. Although I don't think this is any issue at all, and it actually made it better for players to play more strategically and plan where they should go next.. like up the stairs so they can snipe or plan mines for a certain area. Putting Resident evil gameplay to online mode, actually fits pretty well. I'd say for 5 bucks is worth it, and it sure packs a lot of fun to play with friends or people online. Is pretty much like mercenaries mode but the fact you can shoot human players is awesome. Capcom pulled out this idea to test if this could get people to enjoy it, so maybe later on they can put this in their next game. Just like how metal gear got their metal gear online.

Playing through RE5 for the 1st time. Man this game is hard and I'm playing on normal. You really have to conserve your ammo. Right now I've basically been using Sheva to shoot the enemy (w/ handgun) to stun them and I hit them with an melee attack.
