I used to have an ITR and I would bring my ride there just cuz everyone in town was giving them so much probs... I just know that going there for an oil change would require you to reach deep into your pockets!!! Then again, they do know alot about ITR.

Well, technically, there is no true manual (ie. you control the clutch + 5/6/+ speed gearbox), but that is because it is not humanly possible for you to shift faster than what the car has now, so I guess there would be no point. I suppose you can count the sequential shifting as being manual.

Just because it doesn't have a "clutch pedal" doesn't mean it is not considered a manual transmission. I guess it's really user defined as to what a manual transmission is. To me technically it is a manual transmission, cause it has input shafts, syncros, etc etc. the whole manual tranny package deal.

Yep, this one looks good for sure! It's got Amuse CF front lip, Amuse canards, Amuse rear wing, and Volk Progressive rims with stock run-flat tires.

ps. tranny is a manual twin clutch transmission. located in the rear of the vehicle. a regular manual tranny will not shift as fast as this car can. shift from one gear to another in 0.2 seconds and this is a fact. why would my co-worker, GTR Tech, lie about it being a manual, when he was trained to work on the GTR??

The shifting isn't the problem. It's the launching of the car that's the problem and even then it's an isolated incident where only 1% of the GTR's have had failure in the gearbox. The major problem is that the GTR is a 'replace part' car where if anything was to go wrong, they don't bother looking for the problem, they just replace everything.

Keep in mind that all dual clutch tranny's are prone to damage if you launch the car X amount of times. I have a friend that is a mechanic at BMW and he told M5/6's have been in their with blown trannys from auto x etc where BMW will not warranty the fix.

PS, Nissan says you can launch the car +/- 200 times before it goes.

make sure it works, ya know? my experience in it, the tranny is really jerky. say you're at a full stop, then slowly start moving, you can feel the tranny jerk into gear.

ps. only 1 tech. is GTR certified.
