Hey guys,

If you guys have any information on upcoming snowboard/ski warehouse sales, can you let me know the date/time/location?

I've been looking around and really haven't found anything. I figured some of you have some info to share :)

Thanks

I think Pacific boarder is having some sorta sale right now. I was at the Burton/Red/Anon/Gravis sale today and its going on till tommorow i think, but most of the good stuff is most likely all gone.

I went to the one last year and am hoping they have one again this year. Got some good deals from this so I definitely hope it happens again!

I know of the Turkey Sale up in Whistler from Oct 10-13 I believe.

If anyone has headed up there before, is it any good?

I've been up for the last 2 years. Good stuff and pretty cheap. HOWEVER, you have to get there early. I'd say get there right when it opens. Then you get a GREAT selection. If you get there late, crap selection.

It says that day 1 is only for locals, but nobody checks...and nobody cares. But most people don't go up because it says it's only for locals. hahah.

^So is the first day for locals the 10th as well? or do they do it on the 9th?

What are you asking specifically?

Oh, well I'm planning to pick up a snowboard for my bro. I'm looking at the Option Kevin Sansalone factory edition model. I was just wondering if there was anything to be aware of. I believe there's no warranty or refunds, so just wanted to know what to watch out for.

A side note, the employees told me that these are their last Canadian made Option boards since production will move to other countries due to expensive Canadian labour.....Pretty sad. I was happy to have found the Option factory this year and was hoping to go again next year. I like how they are handcrafted in Canada. Anyway, they said that they are going to churn out as many boards as possible for this last factory sale.

I thought Option already moved their board production overseas? their quality already went down the drain a few years back

So, the boards they are selling in the factory sale, are they made in Vancouver?

Either way, I already got the Sansalone. Just wanted to know if I'm spreading the proper information.

because people like me always gets first dibs on the samples before it goes public.

Just like the oakley sample sales, and the volcom sample sales, basically any sample sale I always get first dibs before they go public.

Good to know Reps in all sorts of places.

You know that the products you buy are purchased through the states right?

And the cost of the USD has increased, albeit slightly, since the last time you noticed when things were cheaper.

When our dollar is low, the prices of your favorite products go up.

im not talking about recently, i havent gone to a sample sale in a good couple years

selection AND prices were a lot better before

just my opinion, its not worth my time to go anymore

they can charge a bit more and people will still shell out the cash
