I am unfortunately forced to sell my beloved Lexus SC400, I am the second owner of this well-documented, gorgeous car. Original owner was a 40-something year old woman that babied it from day one. I too have babied this car. When originally looking for an SC, it took me 6 months and I looked at about 20 of them. None of them even came close to the condition that this one was in so I was happy to pay $15,000 for it. Now its even better! It was originally purchased at Richmond Lexus and serviced there for most of its life. Here are the details:

Never driven in snow - only taken out on sunny or clear days. Aircared. Needs nothing at all. Reciepts for just about everything ever done to it!

The bad: Are you kidding me? This thing is immaculate!

You'd be surprised. I get over 400 kms to a tank and its about 60 litres. It takes 91 Octane so its not too bad. Its better on gas than my 350 thats for sure!

Most people I know get from 350-450 with the 1UZ. It helps to have a properly tuned engine (not saying that yours isn't) and of course be light on the throttle which I always am. I rarely 'stomp' on it.

My D17 Divic with a full exhaust and intake gets from 550-600 doing city/urban driving.

The only manuals you see are the US SC300's which are fairly rare or the JDM Soarers which are all mostly bagged to shit. There are a few decent ones out there I am sure.

Its a conservative estimate. 250 hp stock plus an intake, exhaust and filter gives you ???. So instead of padding the horsepower figures I thought I would be a little more realistic.

I have had quite a bit of interest both here and on Craigslist. I would assume this car will go within about 2-3 weeks max. People know that its a great deal and they also know that the price will not drop any more. :)

Theres one 1997 sc300 manual (of which they only made 120). I think the guy goes to SFU, same colour as your car Mike. If I decide to keep my 400 though I might do a conversion. Theres actually plenty resources on the net in doing this uncommon manual conversion for the 400..
