I do eat lots of meat, as a matter of fact, I calculate my daily protein intake, yet I still can't eat as much as i can drink. My body can only absorb so much protein per meal before it converts it to energy. I average 2 chicken drums per meal, and without drinking 4 shakes (2 scoops each), I won't come anywhere close to 290-310g of protein per day.

Think of it this way, it's much easier for average guys to eat and consume than for a big guy like me that needs to eat more to keep his protein consumption in place..

160g vs. 320g per daily intake is quite a huge difference, yet average joes always complain about consumption, what about me?

Here's a sample,
By following what you guys suggest based on my body type, 4 scoops x 25g of protein each would be equivalent to 100g of protein per day from shakes..

330lb(g) - 100g = 230g of protein needs to be from solid food

well, an average size chicken drumstick only has 12g of protein each with no skin and bone based from the data here.. http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/poultry-products/712/2

so if i need 230g of protein in addition to my protein shake consumption (100g), i would need to eat roughly 20 drumsticks per day, based on this calculation 230g protein requirement (from solids)/12g of protein per drumstick = roughly 20 drums..

well, if you can eat 20 drumsticks worth of food in one day, surely let me know, cause i will do it with you.

Obviously a person is not gonna eat solely drumsticks for their entire diet plan, but it goes to show how much more food I need to consume than the average person if i don't double my protein shake intake.

If I add 2 flavour packs (NON-premium since premiums are more expensive and each pack is only good for about 3-4 lbs whereas the *natural* ones are god for 10-15lbs)...it comes to $172 CAD (this is after the 5% discount too).

I'm glad you made this thread Willy. I'm curious as where to get cheap decent quality whey protein as well.

+ 1 on the doesn't mix well stuff. I can never get the stuff to mix well when I do it by hand, I usually use this electronic shake/blender that's a small size (u can get it for $20 bucks at superstore). works pretty effectively, but I still get lumps once in awhile. I think that's now the most important thing I want in the protein (since most are pretty similar to content anyways). I just want something that MIXES WELL when I'm shaking by hand.

On a side note, I notice that chocolate flavours are always the hardest to mix. Vanilla flavors are always the easiest to mix.

If you actually want something post, the product would be BSN Cellmass. If you can, use both, great combination. It was the only NO product that didn't make me feel wierd/jittery after taking it.

Finally just a point to the OP. If your actually taking four shakes a day;

I don't have a mixer bottle and I don't need to buy more stuff just to get a free shaker.... So just wondering where I can find cheap mixers...My friend says popeye's gives them out for free?

Popeye's only gives them out after you purchase stuff.... I don't think they're in the business of just giving away free stuff.
