SFU: SPANISH 102 - Introductory Spanish I

Anyone taken Spanish 102 distant ed. at SFU before?

Planning to take it next semester, and just wondering if I would need a tutor or not. I've never had any experience with Spanish by the way. Any input or suggestions would be great, thanks!

I haven't taken Distance Ed for 102 but I have taken it in class.

If Luis Moncayo is teaching, take it with him. Best teacher ever for the course.. He's currently a student but he's teaching the course and trying to become FT teaching SFU... so he takes it really easy on students and wants good feedback/evaluation. I aced that course lol.

I've never taken spanish up at SFU but I've learned it and written the provincial in high school and in my personal opinion, it's not a hard language to pick up. Good luck with the course.
