What's the guessed percentage of people that pop at raves these days? i've been out of the scene for like 3 years, but can't remember ever going to an all night event (rave) and NOT popping.

FYI anyone not understanding what i'm talking about i'm talking about ingesting E.

Yea I'm curious too... I too never went sober. Its been a long long time for me though lol. I was going when they were hosting underground shit in warehouses. Good times.

i've gone without popping and i still know people that go sober to this day. its all about the music, if its good enough you won't need anything extra. but ya about 90% of the people in vancouver go to do drugs.

I used to go without popping as well. Back in the late 90s and early 2000 I always popped when I went but I just grew out of it and went to enjoy the music. I noticed not a lot of people do drugs at "raves" here in Europe. Maybe it's because they serve alcohol.

I remember one time like 01, this Nammer guy came up to me that could hardly speak any English at all at a Riverside party and asked me if i smoke rock? I was like "what?" He's like "you know... rock! I have some you want smoke?" Realizing he was dead serious I was like "No thats ok dude" That was very odd.

^i was in seattle earlier this year, and a black guy came up to me and was like, "hi................want some crack?" and offered me a hit from his crack pipe. of course i ignored him.

I don't think so but i think the same night there was a major brawl between rival Viets, chairs being thrown everywhere, could have been a shooting, i really can't remember if that was the same night, so many Riverside raves i've been too! IMO THE BEST VENUE EVER,had the most fun at them.

2) less potent (scares less people away)

Thats for sure, i don't know about anyone else, but i started in 98 and went hard on to 02-03 and then a bit after that to 05, nothing will ever beat those early days, truely a blast.
