El Bastardo

I gave up the smokes, the heavy drinking, and don't drink as much coffee. I knew it was having an effect on my voice but my voice keeps getting higher and higher.
I've had a few goddamned call centre jobs and they weren't too good for me either. I'd come home with a sore throat after. Lemon and honey helped but I need to reverse the damage.
When I wake up my voice is smooth, doesn't crack, and I like it's tone. As I wake up the vocal chords tighten and it gets higher.
Listening to recordings of my voice from a few years ago I can hear a difference between then and now.
Anybody got any suggestions for me?
