I'm kinda weary...two things you can't get in Japan are good pizzas and sandwiches.

I'd have to disagree...that's not true at all.. I've been to some lil cafe's and restaurants in Japan and the pizza and sandwiches were quite good! I've found out that places in Japan that serve the best pizzas or sandwiches are usually away from the big city or hidden somewhere and the only way to find em is to know someone local who knows their way around and knows the best places to eat. I remember having a killer delicious mushroom pizza with Matsutake and OMFG it was good...gotta go back someday soon and find that place again :haha:

From the pics the pizza doesn't look all that appealing but of course how it tastes is another story. I'll give it a shot next time I go.

I had a medium Meat Lovers there tonight. I wasn't super impressed, to be honest. Pizza Hut or Panago has a better pizza. Next time maybe I will try something more Japanese like the Teriyaki Mochi Chicken and report back.

Staffs at Strawberry Cones in Aberdeen FoodCourt speak English or Japanese alright .

Quit it, Buddy.

I tried Teriyaki Mochi Chicken. I was good. 15 - 20 mins wait as usual.

Honestly, the pizzas are illustrated way to nice. I think the pizza is not different than any other pizzas out there. I had better ones.

No, but they will either charge you extra or give you the wrong amount of change because you're not a honger and therefore you suck at math.

I tried the chicken teriyaki pizza and it was ok at best. I didn't see or taste any terriyaki at all. It was pretty plain.

i tried the meat lovers, it had a very "musty" smell/taste to it. not sure what kind of meat they used, but definately will NOT be going back.....

i also had the chicken teriyaki pizza with mochi or whatever.... 20 minute wait.. finished my lemon tea before I even had my first slice... **stupid wait*

anyways.. it was alright.. not worth the wait... and it was pretty greasy...

i think next time.. i'll just buy a slice for 2.38.. haha

I had to go to Daiso to refill some stationery items yesterday after work, so I decided to give Strawberry Cone a try. Several observations:

- stupid 30 minute wait!
- ordered the "Mochimo Smile" which was four flavors divided into four quadrants of the pizza, and surrounded by a ring of mini-mochi. Turned out to be way too much mochi for my liking.
- Tuna was the best of the four flavors ... I wouldn't mind having that again. But the other three (spicy shrimp, lobster, mexican sausage) were quite average
- $15 for our 10" at a food court! I think I'll go back to having Korean or Vietnamese next time at Aberdeen.

Another money lossing adventure from the owner of Aberdeen! Who the heck like to wait that long for lunch! There's usually this crazy line up at that noodle place with the wind sand chicken wings and after waiting for a few times, I just said screw it and eat somewhere else.

Fuck the aberdeen owner, if he wasn't such a cheap fuck and lowered the rent there might actually be some decent stores in the mall.

i love that place! i don't mind the wait but it's such a tight space, the crowd always turns that section into a clusterfuck.

That being said, I tried Strawberry Cone and was unimpressed. I didn't think it was particularly good but at the same time, it wasn't terrible.
