wouldnt matter if you havent play 4 or CV, RE5 is pretty much a stand alone game unlike MGS4.

And I was surprised myself to hear that 360 demo comes out a month before PS3.

RE1, 2 and 3 are all linked together (maybe even 4 but i dont recall) and any RE after 3 has its own separate story. for example, RE4 isnt about virus outbrake anymore, more like rescue a girl in a fucked up town that everyone is in a cult of some sort.

i wonder what ever happened to jill valentine. she was in RE3 and was never mentioned in anything else after.

There were some articles circulating around about Capcom not necessarily playing nice with Sony. Something along the lines of Capcom complaining about the difficulty of porting to the PS3.

Money > patriotism.

I stopped after 3, but would be interested to see what 5 is like gameplay wise.

I believe you can only download it from the japanese network...what the heck, you can always download the torrent and burn it to a CD (no mod chip required, that's what I did)
