does anyone make a 19" tv that will run at 1280x1024 from a PC??

I have a 22" toshiba sitting here and it won't even do it. 1300 x 700 max.

It looks like the 22" samsung from FS will? But I'd rather have a 19"

I need it for a dual monitor setup. probably cloned. where the TV can be used as a TV or 2nd cloned monitor.

does it make any difference if I'm using DVI, VGA, or HDMI for a TV off a computer? right now I'm running VGA.

why would they bother making 19-22" tv's with PC inputs that can't go over 1024x768. 15" monitors did that 10 years ago. talk about new crappy tech!

It won't matter which connection you use since the screen resolution isn't that high, unless you have a really crappy VGA cable.

+1. There are practically no 19" tvs with that resolution. If there was I'd imagine you would be paying a premium for it.

Just get the Samsung T220HD, or another monitor that can act as a TV (there' aren't many if you're looking for a coaxial connection).

So the T220HD and t200HD have coaxial inputs with TV tunner? I need that.

are the speakers on these any good for TV ?

what's the diff between a TV with VGA in and a monitor with a TV tunner. why don't they call them both TV's....

can I find these around town? NCIX says special order 1-2 weeks (the 20").

Have you considered a TV tuner card for your PC? Your monitor options would be limitless.

VGA is the 15 pin connector between a desktop and a display (could be monitor or tv)

nowadays TVs have a VGA port built in; monitor's don't because standard def or even high def TV resolution can't compare to the resolution coming from the desktop.

an HD 1080p signal gives you a res at 1920 x 1080 so you might want a monitor that has approximately that res as its highest.

it's weird, I just bought a 19" TV. It says it will do 1080i/720p (1280x768) when I use HDMI...but then the VGA port only gives out 1024 x 768.

you might get an external HD TV box with a remote, it's around $90-150.
