Yeah they take a while to send especially if its near a holiday or a sale.
I bought a pair of TR's from revolve and after it crossed custom I had to pay a $40 customs fee...

It might be stuck at the post office. Apparently Canada Post hasn't even bothered delivering a lot of stuff...they just send out Final Notice cards.

i was thinking that myself, with all the snow and all that, the trucks probably wouldnt be able to make it into the small streets, usually my revolve orders come in time, should i check my local shoppers drug mart post office?

All thanks to the snow. Stupid vans ain't driving to the small streets where they get stuck..

edit: Oops, didn't see your reply ^

Fatal: if it has arrived and Canada Post didn't deliver it, you should receive a notice from them stating when and where you can pick it up. If you haven't received it yet, chances are it hasn't arrived. And yes- lots of Revolve orders are behind because of the season (assuming you ordered it during Xmas-Boxing day)

A Canadian Revolve equivalent is ssense.com, they have some pretty good stuff on there but not nearly as much as Revovle does.

ssense has good feedback on shipping etc, but their prices dont seem too amazing

use promocode JT. its 15% and it works on everything.

Just a heads up, this doesn't seem to work.

mangopudding

^it should still work cause i just ordered some stuff last week
JT has been around for ages

Alphamale

TULIP is the new JT.

CANDY gives you 10% off instead of 15%.

nns
05-20-2009, 07:28 AM
^ If it's your 1st purchase from Revolve, you can email in for a discount right? Can that be combined w/ the codes you mentioned?

I'm guessing no.

I just tried CANDY, that works, and it gives 10% like you said. When I tried TULIP, it said the code expired.

Alphamale
05-20-2009, 11:12 AM
You can call in or email. I think they have a 1-800 number. But yes, you will get 30% off your FIRST purchase. I just used TULIP a few days ago and it was fine (before the end of the long weekend). All you have to do is just google "revolve clothing coupon" and you'll get whateever is available on the market.

nns
05-20-2009, 04:57 PM
So am I right? We can't combine codes w/ the first time purchase discount of 30%?

Alphamale
05-20-2009, 05:17 PM
I haven't had an particular experience with that but I think you maybe able to. Email or call them to double check.

nns
05-20-2009, 05:24 PM
I emailed them and asked if I could combine discounts via codes and the 1st time purchase discount. I also asked which brands are excluded:

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we are not able to apply more than one discount onto an order. If you use the CANDY code during checkout, we will only extend and additional 20% to amount to the overall 30% discount for new customers..We do have a 30% discount available to our new customers. There is not one coupon you may enter during checkout to redeem the discount so you may place the order with out any coupons and please contact us with the invoice number so that we could manually take the discount off for you. Please remember that due to the manufacturer’s request, we are not allowed to use code matching and coupons on the following brands: Rock & Republic, True Religion, 7 for All Mankind, Citizens, Paige, Hudson, Nudie, Botkier, Kooba, Joe's, Lutz and Patmos, Jovovich Hawk, Cheap Monday, Clu, Sea, Common Projects, Rogues Gallery, Rose, Apolis Activism, A. Lawless, Band of Outsiders, Wayne, Bing Bang, Rebecca Minkoff, Gustto Parina, D&G, Goldenblu, & Treesje. I understand that this can be an inconvenience, but unfortunately it is a restriction placed upon us by the manufacturer. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to doing business with you!

^sign up for an account at authenticforum.com and check the deals regularly...

the members there occasionally get revolve to match other site sales and 20%-30% off is pretty common for TR and Sevens and such..since revolve matches the brands the other store sells

BUMPP!

Has anyone returned/exchange with revolve? how long does it take?

When i received it in the US and shipped it back to revolve via their prepaid express shipping, the exchange was free.

Another time when I had already brought it back to Canada w/ the prepaid shipping tossed into the garbage, I had to pay the international shipping to California (~$14 express) and got a full refund. Took about 7 days to get credited back on my CC

theyre more strict on the 30 percent now, back then 2 years ago, we were able to use it on any items and we cud keep redeeming it by making new accounts LOL
but anyway, i still love revolve, good service and free shipping to Canada.
But be careful on tax, u get taxed at the post office , but sometimes when Revolve is nice, they would list the item as a gift to avoid tax. Realy depends on the person who shipped it

jeedee
02-20-2011, 11:51 AM
^listing it as an gift doesn't avoid taxes. Listing the item value below $40 does.

You can try the livechat with a representative to ask.

I've ordered off revolveclothing plenty of times and they're definitely reliable, they're one of the bigger online clothing sites out there.

I LOVE revolve. They are always professional and I've never had a problem with them. And plus the free shipping helps. I mean, it's not THAT bad to pay for $30~ on other sites but every little bit helps!

hmm interesting. Yeah I am debating whether to return it or simply keep it.

If I do an exchange, I have to ship it out, exchange it, and then get hit by duty and taxes again. ~ $ probably around 40 -60 for an exchange -____-

sigh.
