i dont care what brand.... where to buy!!

Malaysian fried rice, as I know it uses Shrimp Paste ("Balacan" in Malaysian).

spelling is almost right, it's balachan. but you're right, malay fried rice uses balachan.

It's spelt "Balacan" or "Belacan" but it's spoken as "Balachan"

you should ask them for "malaysian" sauce, maybe that will help.
