IF you're a recent graduate don't expect much; especially if you don't have HK ID.
Look closely at 'Monster.com.hk' a quick type of "hong kong job sites" in Google gave me a long list.

In Hong Kong news, graduates are fighting for job paying jobs that are roughly 6000HKD - 15000HKD. If you don't have HK ID already, this type of wage won't help you with getting one at all.

I think its a great idea.
Although you may start of with a lower wage.
The expierience you will get will be worth it.

Look for head hunters in Hong Kong. They can definitely help you with a job.
Good luck.

Start with http://www.jobsdb.com/default.htm

But if you aren't extremely talented, chances of you getting an overseas job is pretty slim especially during the financial crisis. If you don't have a HKID or other permits, don't be expecting expat pay or packages.

I am a paralegal in one of the top US law firms located in HK. Economy is VERY slow right now, our practice is quite diversified thus we aren't cutting people at this point; but there are lots of firms who are cutting people already... There's a hiring freeze at my firm that will go on till at least next year by my guess.

There is an expat package for people who are hired in the US and there's also hiring directly from HK. They usually send people over from the New York headquarter if we are looking for paralegal for the US side (we do US, English and HK law). For the HK side, the paralegal needs to have a good command of Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and decent English. HK side is a bit of a PITA though...

Also, why paralegal? Do you have related experience?

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.
