Hi guys,

2 quick questions:

My change engine oil signal and oil filter signall come on yesterday. Does it mean my filter and oil are too dirty beyond driving condition?

2nd, I am fed up with the service at autowest, is there any private shops out there that does infiniti maintenance professionally?

thanks!

i think those change oil lights are all timed. try searching on the nissan or infiniti forums for "reset oil light" im sure they will tell u how to.

any, i literally mean any mechanic shop, can change oil and filter for you. Scroll thru the sponsors page, there are oil change specials all the time. with spring coming up soon, im sure they will post up specials very soon if u can wait. if u cant, then just go to any of them.

correct, you can change it to a few thousand miles/kms later or earlier. Most shops would be able to take care of your car. Just be careful where you choose

oil lights can be set to different intervals, very easy to do.

ya I have a screen, its a 08 G35. Gordon another question, can I take my infiniti to your nissan dealer for service?

because simply put, autowest is just garbage.

definitely, we took ours to Southside just for a winter tire swap though and just a quick check up on some things. DDauge, go hit info on your dash and then you should be able to find somewhere all the stuff for like service notifications. It's pretty straight forward. LMK if you need anymore help.
