I'm taking a nikon 500mm f4 & a 70-200 mm f2.8. Kyle is probably taking his Sigma 50-500mm canon mount. I may go again next Sunday. I'll bring the 5D mkII + 100-400 L and a 1.4 TC or the D3x.

How was the shoot today? You guys totally lucked out with the weather.

The weather was great, the lighting was great, and the eagles were very close. The only problem was every eagle was never totally in view. Each one without fail was obscured by a tree branch preventing a clean shot. :( I'm sore from lugging around the 500mm f4.
