Why use the Two Bucket Method?

After washing this clients truck the other day, I forgot to empty my buckets until the next day. By that time all the foam had disappeared and this is what was left. The first pic is the rinse bucket, the second is the wash water. If you are NOT using the TBM, the first pic shows the water that you are washing your vehicle with. Just so you know, the heavily soiled areas of the truck were presoaked and then the whole truck was foamed and rinsed BEFORE washing.

And people wonder why they get so much swirls on their cars, sad to see so many modded cars that are always dirty because the owners don't want to wash them.

absolutely, you are causing microscartches on the paint of the car (marring) when you scrub down the panels with that sort of water. you also want to apply as little pressure onto the body panels as possible to reduce swirls and scratches, there should only be enough pressure to lightly wipe over the surface.

Exactly. I use a lambswool mitt to put a little buffer between my hand and the paint. If I can actually feel the paint through the mitt, I'm pressing too hard.

I think you need the TBM and gritgaurd in this weather
