I'm rather disappointed that this season there was no Live Auditions episode, allowing you to see 12 crews compete. Instead, they start with a regular episode and we only get to see 9 crews. Aside from that, I think the talent and excitement level is much higher for crews this year than previous seasons. I thought every single crew on the show had solid performances and there really aren't any mediocre crews.

Nice, I think I'll tune in to ABDC this season. At least there's a couple of groups to follow like the 1st ABDC.

Quest is reminiscent to Jabbawockeez. They're breakers and seem to have a wide array of other dancing disciplines but they actually have the basics. Which is they know how to "dance."

Beat Freaks - They're not as tight as a disciplined group that have gone to dance schools all their lives, but they have a certain rawness to their crew that works on their favour to entertain. It's like watching the female crew of the "It's Like That" Music Video of Run DMC vs. Jason Nevins. It's their mean selling point and I hope they don't resort to dressing like strippers and Pussy Cat Dolling it like Fish & Chiks (Which is the reason why their support declined midway through the comp.)

Quest has to be a finalist, especially with Hok and Ryan on the crew. The chick crew was the first one I could see who could bboy as good as bboys could. A lot of talent this year, it's going to be great... besides those hoochies from Miami who couldn't dance but only got saved because Shane Sparks was pitching a tent.

Judging from the first episode, I'm excited about this season. There's a lot of variety and nobody that seems to be a complete joke (like Sassx7 from last season). I liked Quest. I think they'll probably win. Their type of style seems to be an audience favourite. Beat Freaks is definitely the most respectable all-female group that has been on the show. Ringmasters...yeah, really scary.

1) BOXCUTTUHZ IS AWESOME!!! Their dance in ep1 was killer. I dun care how many ways you can do a backflip, choreography ftw.

2) Lil Mama is an idiot. When she told the girl that she needs to pick it up and that the guys are carrying here, was she watching a different show? If anything she stood out the MOST. Sure caught my eye. I loved her dance style.

3) Although I don't agree with them being put on the bottom 2 twice, when they were eliminated it was all on them and no one else's fault. That performance was horrible which is a shame because I know they have so much potential.

For how much Boxxcuttahz have been hyped up, they definitely didn't deliver and what jonogunn8 said was true. I think Team Millenia should have been cut regardless.

And like the judges said to Ringmaster, what they're doing right now is fresh and never been seen before, but if they don't add more dancing they're going to get cut soon enough.

Quest is still the group to beat though no matter what JC and Lil Mama said. I don't even know why they keep Lil Mama around anyway she doesn't add anything to the show besides a little bit of ghetto.

By the end of 2nd episode, everyone knew who the two finalists crews were gonna be. It was just a matter of waiting until the season finale. But nope, it never happened.

It made me not want to watch this show anymore. So I only watched parts of season 2. And probably not gonna watch season 3 at all.

ABDC is not rigged, its just that in the 1st and 2nd seasons they made a big deal about coast/regional rivalries and fans bought into it. So when it came down to three crews in season 1 (Jabba, Kaba, Status Quo), East coast voters went for SQ, and West coast voters split their votes between Jabba and Kaba, causing them each to have less votes than SQ.

It worked out the same in season 2 when So Real Cru from Houston was the only crew from the South and they were never in the bottom two, yet Super Cr3w from the West was in the bottom two several times since there was always more than one crew from the West on the show until the final showdown.

A final fact to note is that this show airs on MTV on Thursday nights, and voting opens after it airs on the East coast, and closes 6AM EST Friday morning. The show airs on a 3 hour time delay on the West coast. This results in West coast voters having 3 less hours to vote for their crews of choice since they can't vote blind without the right numbers to call / text in. So I guess in way, you can call this voting system "rigged", however I prefer to think of it as more of a technical blunder by the producers.

youre comparing apples and oranges. not to say that people who watch sytycd dont watch abdc, but we can at least assume, for the most part, that the target demographic for sytycd is a little more sophisticated with their taste in television. sytycd is actually about dancing, all forms of it; whereas abdc is strictly entertainment, as evidenced by the removal of the last crew in episode two. ultimately, it was up to the judges, but it was the viewers that voted the more gimmicky crews above one of the better actual dance crews. that alone tells you something about the voters who watch abdc. teenage girls dont recognize people behind the scenes. they need someone who they see on their cd cases. i wouldnt be surprised if the lack of votes for the boxcuttahs were because all the kids were swayed by lil mama's opinion. of course, im being largely subjective. maybe you agree with the outcome and think fly khicks are gunna win it all!

I don't really like how they have artist-themed episodes. I'd rather see the groups doing their own thing. Most of the groups still did pretty well though in my opinion. I liked Beatfreaks, Strikers All Stars, and Quest. Shane's comment about Dynamic Edition was both hilarious and true, but so mean - "I can't get the movie White Chicks outta my head" LOL. And I didn't think this was possible but I found Ringmasters not completely repulsive this week. Their song definitely worked to their advantage.

I have to say that this week's episode was really wack. The wack challenge was one of their worst ideas yet, and led to far less entertaining performances from all crews. I think its all overshadowed from last week's Britney challenge which most crews absolutely killed.

In regards to this week's elimination:
Did anyone else see Lil Mama's rather fake looking smile when Fly Khicks was saved? I bet JC and Shane both voted to keep them and Lil Mama was the sole judge trying to hang onto Ringmasters.

Ringmasters must have been pissed they got eliminated on a song as retarded as the Macarena, but to be fair they got by easily last week with Britney's Circus.

Fly Khicks has only been in the bottom two once, and that was this past week with Ringmasters, and I believe Fly Khicks was more entertaining and were better overall dancers compared to Ringmasters. The only other time they could have been eliminated was in the first episode in the "3 crew battle", and Fly Khicks were clearly better than GOP in that episode. So if anything, you should be blaming the fans for voting for fly Khicks, rather than Shane for keeping them this past episode.

With that said, my hope is that this week either Fly Khicks or Dynamic Edition go home.

Well I think whoever wins will deserve it. I mean, if judging strictly by the last episode, Quest ripped it and should win. However, if you compare all the performances season long that Quest and Beat Freaks had, it is very even. It will be interesting to see how the fans vote as it could go either way right now.

Yes it was Yuri from Kaba Modern and Taiko from Fish N Chicks. They run some sort of Youtube show together called the Yuri and Taiko Show..
