Last one on Craigslist I saw was apparently in 'good' condition, except for the grinding when shifting into third :S.

Awesome, thanks. I do know of one but it needs a ton of work and I can't seem to find the parts so it's off my list. Immediately it needs a tranny and new brakes all around (calipers, rotors and pads) ..and apparently to do that job you need to push apart the bearings. In the near-ish future it's gonna need a new long block and turbo. A bit much for me, unfortunately. :S

Ya, the rotors and the like on those cars are an absolute bitch. I had an '87 323, and had to do the rotors....just say I'm glad I work at a Mazda dealership.

hey i know there use to be a place called the skyline shop in aldergrove i think it was. i know they can find you one and get it imported. they all minty with low low k. you can probly find your self a nice 92 gtr which have way better trannys and a much stronger motor. making 192hp i believe compared to the 88' gtx which only has 135hp. i have an 88 my self there super sweet cars man unbelievable to drive.
