Tyson was a beast but Fedor is a machine.
Fedor is like a young Mike Tyson, but Fedor isn't full of himself and his heart and mind are pure. I dont think he will ever be beaten. He is so humble its amazing

The best damn fighter IMO. His philosophy in life is the simplest, yet the most effective.
Hopefully one day, he'll make Dana eat his own words and then some.

When the fuck is Dana gonna sign him. I haven't watched him fight since Zuffa bought out PrideFC.

^ Probably almost never. Dana already tried, but Fedor found the contract too restricting. Simply put, he'd basically become the bitch of Dana White and the organization if he signed. Fedor participating in his national sport, Sambo, for example, was something he'd be forced to quit if he signed with the UFC. There were many other reasons...

it was because dana doesnt want him to use his russian moves or something and wants to make it illegal.. whats what i heard from a friend

^ Not quite.
I found the actual transcript of his response as to why he didn't sign with the UFC. A huge part of it was not being able to enter Sambo tournaments.
"The contract that we were presented with by the UFC was simply impossible, couldn't be signed -- I couldn't leave. If I won, I had to fight eight times in two years.
If I lost one fight, then the UFC had the right to rip up the contract. At the conclusion of the contract, if I am undefeated, then it automatically extends for an as yet unspecified period of time, though for the same compensation. Basically I can't leave undefeated.
I can't give interviews, appear in films or advertising. I don't have the right to do anything without the UFC's agreement. I could do nothing without the OK from the UFC. I didn't have the right to compete in combat sambo competition. It's my national sport. It's the Russian sport, which in his time our president competed in, and I no longer have the right to do so.
There were many such clauses; the contract was 18 pages in length. It was written in such a way that I had absolutely no rights while the UFC could at any moment, if something didn't suit them, tear up the agreement. We worked with lawyers who told us that it was patently impossible to sign such a document."

His Russian moves? As long as they aren't illegal in the UFC rules I doubt anyone cares what his tactics are...
He won't be signed by the UFC because he doesn't want to sign multi-fight contracts, and the UFC won't sign him to a one fight contract to come in and take the belt and then take off...plus he's probably asking for atleast a million a fight...and considering he's not very well known in America yet the UFC doesn't see themselves as making a big profit off paying him so much.
With that said, I wouldn't count out Fedor "never" being signed by the UFC, just not in the near future, but you never know.

^ He actually doesn't get too much per fight. A lot of his income comes from his fight footage that he and his management own and sell. Fedor actually only got paid $300,000 for his last fight against Sylvia. But of course, Fedor could have received some money up front.
All in all, I don't think the problem is too much on finances, but the restrictions he'd get put through once he signs.
And, IMO, any fight fan that watches the UFC probably knows who Fedor is. He was already quite well known in America, but his fight against Sylvia made him even more popular.

I don't think that average MMA fan knew what Fedor was all about before the Affliction event. People who go on forums and whatnot to discuss MMA aren't the average fan. The average MMA fan doesn't know shit all that happens outside of the UFC.
I'd take the negotiations for what they are worth, both sides were demanding something that the other party didn't like. Dana said that Fedors managers wanted the UFC to sign a bunch of other fighters from Fedors camp, which they werent interested in doing. It's a really shitty mix between the two parties, one likes to control a fighter and everything about them, the other wants a lot more freedom.

Hilarious comment on one of the parts:
"I think once Fedor dominates the human competition he should focus his attention on fighting alpha predators such as lions and sharks."

Fedor: "Tim Sylvia, hahahahaha, hehe! It was over so quickly! Muaahaha! He did not hit me at all. hahahahaha!"
LOL what a diss on that fat bloke! Fedor was laughing so hard as soon as his name was brought up.
Even when he laughs he sounds psycho, damn wouldn't want to mess with him.

to see fighters salaries after events, go to MMA Weekly (http://www.mmaweekly.com)
And Fedor will lose a fight when he gets too old, then he will retire.
