dosen't sound right, hearing what is clearly a v8 in an rx7... almost like someone dubbed the audio track :p

Lots of LS1 powered miata's on the road. The LS1 goes in anything :) Here's one against a Ferrari F430

Well, the RX stands for Rotary eXperiment...

Emphasis on experiment. In this instance your dealing with a two decade old design and the rotary was probably the weak link. Without the LS1 this car would probably be "elsewhere".

I've always said pistons are the best thing you can put in an RX7.

Not really that suprising on fc's as the fc looksl ike a 944 and they've been swapping ls1's in 944's for some time now.

one of my friends has an FB with a v8, and there is another FB in chiliwack with a cobra engine.
