i was just driving home from Vancouver and i bent a rim. there is a small (deep) square pothole on the marry hill bypass just after the lights getting off of the #1 hwy. the hole is in the far right lane.

my question, has anyone ever bent a rim and gone after the city for damage caused? did you win? what did they pay for or do?
