My girlfriend's little brother's birthday is coming up, and I was wondering where I can get pick one of those up. I understand Crystal Mall used to have them, and they're off the market now, but there's some other sorts of "R4 type" cards that go by a different name that works just as well?

Any idea what these new things are called and where I can pick one up?

you have to look for the little "wing" where all the computer stores are
$80 gets you an R4 and 1g mini sd

I'd definitely wouldn't get an R4 because sometimes you will need to patch the games to get them to work. You don't have to do this as much for any of the other cards.

I ordered an R4 + 2gb SD card from dealextreme (after seeing this thread), and it's been so long like more than a week, but they haven't even shipped yet... does it usually take this long? I don't mind waiting but I'm just scared it might never even come, so if anyone with previous experience with these guys can reassure me that I didn't just get gipped, that'd be cool :D even though it was only 15 BUCKS!! hahaha

LOL, might be because I orderd 10 from them last week.. Says my ETA is Feb10th...... I used to buy mine from Crystal mall @ J&K for $70 you get a R4 with 2GB micro SD.... Just waiting for my r4's already got my 10 - 2GB micros @ $2 each..... It usually takes 2-3 weeks standard time....

Has anyone ever bought the bottom touch screen for the nds???? Legit??
