like he said, go talk to an advisor at camosun. they can talk to you about what you want to do, what programs are offered, and what upgrades you would need to do.

you need your grade 10 to join the military.

I laugh at my coworker (17 year old high school drop out who only has grade 9)

coincidentally, he washes dishes for a living lol.

You may still be able to get a copy of your transcript from your old school. If not, I'm sure they can tell you how to get a copy. Maybe from the school board?

If you're thinking of the trades at all, I went to a trades info night before I signed up for my courses, and found it to be helpful. A few years back, I also took an assessment test at Camosun to give me an idea of what I might need to upgrade. I ended up not doing the course at the time, but found the test to be a good process to go through.

camosun may still ask for an asessment since you've been out of school for so long that and they love money.

love money so much...

they wouldn't credit me classes i clearly passed/knew from a previous course (not a camosun)

so i had to take their versions.

I never showed and just did tests passing with an A.

thanks camosun :P

Teachers are great, administration is shit.

administration is shit.

I won't get into the issues I had with their accounting department, but in a funny little coincidence, I received my welding c certificate in the mail today. It was stamped July, 2008.... :teach:

camosun is definetly one of the institutions that has a few bad apples that make the rest look bad. even the co-op program has a few idiots, and they make the whole department look bad.
