Summarized: In the beginning of the series, the pokemon were more animal like, and didn't really have individual personalities (ex: pigey flock attack). When Ash fell into a coma at the beginning of the series, he actually never came out of the coma. Thus all the stories and adventures that he's had were all made up by his childish imagination. Explains lack of aging, voice change... etc. Goes into his sexuality, humanity, family, etc.


But totally agreed with everyone who mentioned Doraemon. But they cut ding-dong short cause the author died. I doubt the creator of Pokemon is going to die very soon = =; *knock on wood*
