There was a thread on v240 about foglights being on and getting a ticket while there's no fog.

But he was doing consistently 60-62 on kingway with the vpd car right on his butt. My brother and I was like, oh man.. the police car is just following that civic, he's going to get pulled over for somethign...

The car had tint on the rear windows, and an exhaust. But it wasn't screaming attention.. jsut the yellow jdm looking fogs. I think it's an Si too.

there is no law forbidding the use of fogs in the absence of fog iirc, as on most cars they are part of the DRLs. i know mine come on as soon as you turn the car on. (not even starting it, just to the on position)

Really? I got pulled over once for having my fog lights on. Was told it was illegal in the absence of fog and was only let go for a warning...

Theres nothing there about using fogs when theres no fog. Just you HAVE to to use them if there is (if equipped). And the yellow fogs are also legal.

Cops these days, dont know their motor vehicles act... haha.

the yellow fogs do look a little heaty though.

too bad they cant be like the toyota/lexus fogs, its clear, but there is an amber ring inside the fog, thats what gives the yellow output.

all in all, i think ive been pulled over more in such a short span in the GS than in the prelude.

wheel offset is relatively new to the import scene.

5 years ago, offsets greater than +35 were hard to get, unless u look overseas. Majority of the producers of wheels to the masses would stick to the +38 to +45 range for plus size wheels. now, u got more options, new styles, new everything. Back then, it was about what style of rims u got, and how big u got.

Now its about how wide, and how immposible lengths u go to to make a set of rims fit. Pulling fenders, rolling fenders, trimming fenders, super neg camber, stretched tires, all in an effort to make large wide rims fit.

FWD cars are pushing out their offsets as well as more and more wheels are available. seeing a lot more guys trying to run +30 and less offsets.
