Yeah, I knew about it, but forgot to go. Team 1040 is like touting this McDonald's as the nicest looking one anywhere. I cannot believe that the dump (to put it nicely) on Renfrew can ever be renovated to look nice. They made it sound like it was the Taj Mahal of McDonald's. Is this just media hype or is it really that nice? Big screen TV's. If it's got PPV, I'd be there all the time, LOL. Big Mac and artery clogging fries, plus watching the Canucks playing like they do these days...... I don't know. Maybe a recipe for gastronomic disaster.

I finally went there today to check it all out. Fail. That place is not anywhere close to being nice. The decor is different, but will become dirty in no time. The manager who was there this afternoon was an obnoxious, super bitch. Berating the workers in front of customers is not cool. It made her look like a typical management trainee dropout. Food was good. Salty fries......... mmmmmmmmmm..............

The Stanley Cup was at GM Place a few times in the last two years. I think it was at last year's Superskills. In fact, I bet it was at this year's Superskills, as well. That would explain it being in town in the first place. McDonald's is the major sponsor of the Superskills event.
