This is a COPY of the Manfrotto 484RC2 (http://www.manfrotto.com/Jahia/site/manfrotto/cache/off/pid/2302?livid=80|81&idx=83) ball head. (clicky for specs)

It will hold a gripped Canon 40D sized camera with a medium weighted lens such as 24-105 f/4L IS.
Does not hold 70-200 f/2.8L IS at an angle, but will hold if its at horizontal. If you have the f/4L IS or non-IS, this may hold.
Ideal for entry-level DSLR such as D40(x), Digital rebel series or "point n' shoot" cameras.
"Test-drives" are welcome. Bring your own tripod.
