: 60-year-old woman gives birth to twins

A 60-year-old woman delivered twins at Calgary's Foothills Hospital Tuesday, family members confirmed. She is believed to be the oldest person in Canada to give birth.

Family members said Ranjit Hayer and her husband have been trying to have a child for years, to no avail. Reports say Hayer, originally from India, returned to the country to receive in vitro fertilization after being turned down in Canada because of her age.

So if this 60-year old woman has a sister that's 5 years older, who gave birth to a daughter when she was 20 years old, and her daughter in turn gave birth to a son when she was 20 years old, that son would now be 25 years old.

So consider if that son now babysits the twins.

That would be the great nephew babysitting his great aunts or uncles.

Or consider that 25 year old son also has a 5 year old daughter.

The great-great niece would be older than her graat-great aunts or uncles.
