All skullcandy headphones suck. There all show.

Look into Sennheiser headphones. Also checkout headfi.org

i had some senns before, pmx200's. i didn't like em and sold them off. the sound was crisp, clear but not enough bass for me. i was looking at some sennheiser pmx100's which essentially has the same specs as the pmx200 but it is not enclosed, will that in turn sound better?

i seen some skulls for cheap on ebay so i thought they might be a good buy, basic use with some decent bass maybe.

I got a pair of these, they are great for bass, and awesome for it's value.. I got mine for $20 on sale at NCIX.

I currently own the Shure SE530s. Out of all the IEMs I've ever owned (Q-Jays, Sleek SA6s, Etymotic ER6i's, UE Super.fi 5 Pros), these are hands down the most balanced IEMs through all frequency ranges. They're a little more mid-focused, but the clarity for the highs, and the response for the lows are still there despite the minor treble roll off.

I got them for about $290 used, but I had to sent them in for RMA like a day after, and got a new pair, so that's an extremely good deal considering they're about $449 new.

I'm probably going to end up selling these when my Sleek Customs are finally done going back and forth refittings, so if you want, you can have first dibs.
