I came home today and tried to log into my msn except that it said that the service was temperarly unavaliable, except my friends could log in through my computer just not my email. I've encountered this problem before, and back then I just had to change my time/date. I've googled this problem and none of the answers seem to help. I was running on the old build of windows live messenger9 but I just downloaded the new official one but it still does not work. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah this is only happening on my main computer. My notebook, macbook, and tytn2 can all log me in.

Whoop forgot to mention that I have restarted the program, reinstalled the program, and safely shut off my computer/restarted the computer several times.

Try power cycling your modem and router/switch if you have one.

Is it still like that? It could be just like it described... a temporary problem. It could be that the server your PC is trying to connect to is having temporary problems with your account... so other accounts using your PC is unaffected. Similarly, the other machines you've tried are trying to connect to different servers.

If it happens again and you really want to login with that PC, you can always use Web Messenger until the main client works again...

I get this occassionally. Sometimes is an MS thing. But weirdest thing for me was I couldn't log into my MSN from my blackberry, but could login from PC. Then I tried login in to another msn account thru my blackberry and it worked.

Once again, it's certain accounts on certain servers that have the problem temporarily... that's why even on the same device, some accounts may work and some may not...
