car alarm wire? help please!

so my car got broken into again.. they used a slim jim or something for the door so there was no damage to the door lock n e ways when they got in the alarm went off. he poped the hood and unhooked the negative from the battery, but at the same time i think he ripped off or cut the wire that makes the alarm ring? so i attached the negative back to get the car running again but i dont know HOW or Where the alarm sound wire is does it just connect the battery? any help is greatly appreciated

Just look around under the hood for the siren. Once you find it follow the wires from it back until you find the cut/break.

Take it back to the place that installed your alarm.

^^ Werd. If they were able to find the siren or siren wire, then that alarm was not properly installed. You may also want to think about getting a back up battery too.

so i poped the hood and looked for the wire. didnt take more then 10sec to spot it. the siren is located beside/very near the windshield fluid? is that where it's suppose to be? can i move it myself to a better location?

another question is if they unplug the negative from the battery would the alarm still ring im guessing no... but why did they had to unplug the negative AND cut my wire... assholes
