I'm supposedly on the don't call list but they keep calling. I have the same telemarketer calling my house on multiple occasions and today, I told him not to call anymore. Instead of saying thank you, he fucking says "Yes, DO CALL?" I'm like, "NO, Don't CALL" and he's like "OKAY, I will call!" and hangs up on me. what a douche.

Edit: Number was 1-800-525-9241. A quick search on google, and it seems that these people claim they're a fundraiser for xxx organization etc etc.

Don't ask them not to call back just fuck with them. Ask them what their wearing and tell them you're rubbing your nipples to the sound of their voice.

use the magic 'harassment' word, t does a damned good job of shutting them up and getting them to stop calling.

Yah.. that number called me yesterday. I just hit the ignore button. They must be using VOIP. It's the same goddamn, uppity motherfucker that says, "Congratulations!" each time.

we used to get them all the time, especially those ones with the fax and the annoying beeping noises. and they're ALWAYS IN THE FKING MORNINGS.
whats more irritating is when you pick up and the guy on the other end has a huge indian or chinese accent (no offense guys).
we just switched from rogers to shaw recently, and we havent gotten any at all (:

the fax ones are the most annoying...

as for the telemarketers just fuck with them or if you're not gonna get billed for it just tell them to hang on one second and leave the phone there n do something else- they'll hang up after 5mins =D

I always tell them on one in the hous eis over 18 right now. They usually ask when they will be back. I always tell them anytime, could be this sec, next min, next hour. They usually get the hint and never call back.

Has anyone tried this site? It's supposed to be a mass list of what you can opt out of I think.

http://www.ioptout.ca/

I didn't catch the entire segmen on tv. It was mentioned on one of those computer shows that's on CTV I think.

I only regularly get 2 telemarketers calling - one is from Telus trying to pimp Telus TV out to me. For some crazy reason, they call twice in one day. I've told them they've called twice and been telling them I'm not interested for the last year but they never seem to stop calling. Now I just ignore the 310-xxxx numbers since it's always them.

The other is the radio survey. To be "nice" I told the last guy I was busy (I was since they called during working hours and I was working). Dude got snarky and said "if you're busy, why did you bother to pick up the phone?" in a condescending voice. However, before I could spit out any smartass remark, he had hung up the phone.
