Where are the bunnies in GVRD?

Because of Recession, i am currently in a horrible financial situation. I can barely afford my rent let alone my own food.
I've run out of options for food and i am desperately looking for food. I've considered hunting for fair game.
Have you guys seen any bunnies in your area? i am on a high protein diet and rabbit meat will suit my daily protein intake.
I've seen many of around the automall and Steveston highway.
Please let me know, i am hungry.

Under the education building in Richmond on Minoru and Granville Ave. They are beside Richmond city all. Good luck hunting! If you go to Uvic, you can bag yourself enough food to last a year.

Wow, some people are taking this recession pretty hard.
I've seen a couple of them floating around no.4 and steveston highway. Good luck, they're very fast.
Make sure to eat some veggies, too much protein can poison you.
You'll be fat in Spring, they're everywhere then.

Guildford mall and other surrey malls seem to attract a fair number of bunnies... they're probably diseased though

I thought rabbit meat was insufficient to sustain the human body if used as the sole source of food for long periods. Something about how much energy it takes human stomachs to extract nutrition from rabbit flesh. Maybe I'm thinking about a different animal, like or squirrel or sth...

Forget the rabbits and go digging for crabs in the East end. You have to watch out for their pimps but I'm sure most working girls wouldn't mind you harvesting if you ask nice.

I'd be more interested in deer than bunnies. More meat. Tastes better, too. Rabbit is very bony.
And you know what the worst thing about eating bunnies is?
When their paws kick you in the face

You gotta find the one that bawks too. Can't have a rabbit that moos to lay an egg.

Actually it is because rabbit meat is so lean. Due to the lack of fat, you cannot simply rely on eating it otherwise you'll die!
Besides, there are a few running around the Viking Sailing club at kits.

Funnily enough, I had considered that too as there were so many of the damned things. A friend of mine caught two squirrels getting it on one time. I still have the pics she sent me ahahah....somewhere. :p

Mmmm......... rabbit stew.
You'll find a shit load of them cute little critters near Deas Tunnel. There's an overpass that is on the Richmond side of the tunnel. That's bunny heaven. I believe the name of the road is called Old Rice Mill Road. It leads to the BC Ferries dry dock and Ocean Fisheries. There's an airplane park there, where people go and fly their remote control planes. In the summer, there are so many rabbits, it's almost impossible not to run over one or two. Rabbits are pretty dumb critters.

Buddy, if you are seriously in need for help, members on RS will come to your rescue. I'll start off by offering whatever canned goods I have in the pantry. I also have some odd gift cards lying around. I think others on here should join in. PM me, blagh. I know what it's like to have nothing. I'm there for you. I'll bring the food by this Saturday. +1
I swear to god, we don't have grass at UVic any more, its just bunny poop with specs of green. The ferocious wildlife usually roam in packs of 50 or 60.
And you don't even have to catch them, you can just walk up to them and pick them up then throw them on the barbie.

whenever you post, "oh fuck my life i'm so broke i need to hunt rabbits" it's a cry for help. Instead you refuse it by claiming you don't need to rely on charity.
Dumb troll.

Not really. I understand what he's saying. Some people would rather go without than rely on charity. Our family was like that. We were poor, but we never lined up for our food. Good on him and he's probably right. There are a lot worse off people out there. When times are tough you become creative. I think hunting for food and whatnot is a great idea. I really wonder sometimes what would happen if the economy got so bad that it turns out to be like a depression. I think most people would lose it and there would be big time chaos in the streets. So used to the good life and being spoiled. A colleague of mine once told me, "You're richer than you think, because of what you went through." He was right. It makes sense now. The humbling experience of having nothing and learning the value of the things you have, like your health, family, etc. Take nothing for granted. It could be that if times get tougher, I may not be able to adjust, either. I swore never to be that hungry or poor again.
Getting away from being too serious, I think we should have an RS rabbit meet. Go out to those places mentioned, catch us some rabbits, and have a BBQ. BBQ rabbit and home brewed beer, FTW.:)
