what brand of protein drink/whey protein drink would you recommend? I'm just starting out and was just wondering which ones tasted good.

Reflex or Popeyes should carry most of the brands mentioned here. I think even Walmart carries ON now.

quick mass is not only for gaining weight.. 4 scoops are recommended for gaining weight and muscles but if you just trying to maintain your body size with some muscles then taking 2 scoop is recommended.
is really up to you.. and what your goal is.

if you are in it for taste just get chocolate b/c its really hard to mess up chocolate as a flavor

i usually get my protein from popeye's but halo mentioned in another thread that the price of ON's has gone up quite a bit. I usually buy like 600-700 dollars worth of supplements so the guy gives me a discount :)
wal mart was selling the stuff not too long ago for 49.99 but good luck trying to find a place that still stocks them. i read somewhere that it was a one time deal and they wouldn't be ordering anymore

I use plain protein. I ran out of flavoring for it. I either just down it plain (which actually isnt too bad.. in fact it tastes better then some of the shitty vanilla flavored proteins I've bought before) or I just grab a pack of crystal light and throw it in.

ON was what I used was great after a workout. I found that quick mass had too much sugar in it and I was gaining a lot of useless weight in fat.

hey guys nvm. i just went to popeyes on kingsway, and was gonna get ON cookies n creme, but they ran out. I asked the guy working there what tasted good, and he recommended 'extreme power whey complex' chocolate peanut swirl. By GOD, it tastes godlike with water. and usually stuff takes like chalk with water, but this shit right here? good to go. i would recommend it to you guys.. haha

I use Optimum Nutrition or Elite from xfuel, they're located on Boundary between lougheed and granview hwy.... its right next to brian jessel BMW and the oasis tanner center there.... good price... i get the Optimum 5lb for $45 tax included.. not sure how much u guys are getting it for...

Elite is pretty good too, thats what i'm going to be taking next...

Not totally sure, I've been going there for a while and know the guy that runs it. Either ask for Aaron or Ben, I'm not sure if they give that to everybody or just me, I just go there and buy so I'm not sure if it's a deal or regular price.
