Commend this kid? What are you talking about? You commend someone who has a kid and has no means of taking care of it? Who is scared of telling their parents that his girlfriend is pregnant? No, not commend. It was stupid, plain and simple. You see so many teens, and even adults, having children that they cannot care for. So many parents that are NOT sober. A child needs love and a child needs sober parents and a child needs parents that can CARE FOR IT and PROVIDE for it.

Obviously this 13 year old can do neither. Sure, he can "love" it the same way he could love his parents, but never to the extent that a developed adult could. He simply doesn't have the capacity. No one at 13 has that capacity. So, you commend this kid for having a child and keeping it when he cannot take care of it and place it at disadvantage from day one? You keep on commending it, I'll keep on seeing tax payers ponying up tax dollars to take care of the kid.
