I've heard of people getting them at a discounted price but I've never heard someone getting it for free.

They used to offer you, 6 months free rental and buy them out after 6 months $299(it couldve been higher, forgot), but i dont think you can get it for absolute FREE.

i dont know if you can bitch at them for this but i do have a shaw box and some of my channels dont work. example they will either say channel is not available at this time but if i go in to another room without the box the channel working fine or some of my channel lags where i cant see the image that well. my friends with the box also had same experience. i have called in too tell them about it and they told me they restart something and it should be working but it never did and i was jus to lazy to call again and wait on hold
