The Keg has pretty good steaks most of the time but I was wondering, what do you guys like/order from there the most?

Like what type of rib or steak? I heard some suggestions on here about the prime-rib? Hows that?

Cause whenever I go, I just choose randomly and they turn out to be pretty good, so was seeing what does most people like @ The Keg.

last time i went to the keg it was the richmond one, and i ordered the prime rib/lobster. the prime rib was delicious but the lobster wasnt that great.

38 or 39 dollars i believe... but without the lobster it would have been 29?

use to work at the keg a few years back. usually got the classic new york or the prime rib, both keg sized. baseball sirloin was not bad but it was a bit small for my tastes.

Every time I went to The Keg, I ordered Prime Rib.
it delivered.
Sometime I paired with Tiger shrimp, King Crab, and Lobster
King Crab & Lobster wasn't that tasteful.

I was tempting to order last week, but got Prime Rib instead becuase I was afraid I can't finish 20ounce steak.

had snap peas & asparagus tempura for starters, medium rare prime rib, garlic mash w/ king crab legs a few weeks ago. prime rib was maybe 5% too salty, but that's if you're some hippy.

i'll be going again on friday and i'm thinking crab dinner. my buddy had that last time and it looked really good. i'm a keg whore now. my buddys' a head accountant at their office so it's 40% off food. and we go all the time. $32 dinners = $20. he's really popular right now.

there's a 20z t-bone they got cracking off that's pretty awesome so i'm told. you should go to the willingdon keg. because it's so stupid busy they have the highest turnover for steaks. but of course it's stupid busy.

The king crab legs are frozen, but the lobsters are live.

Not really food related but for those in Vancouver a new Keg is being built in Yaletown right now. It's 3 stories, should be pretty nice when complete.

Yeah that's what I heard when I went to the Earl's a couple of weeks after it opened. Me and a friend were talking with a couple of the girls out front and they mentioned it.

Can't wait to see it, it'll only be a couple of blocks for me to walk to then.

Hot Karl

if you're getting bread, ask for the 3 cheese butter. shredded cheddar and i think mozza whipped up with cream cheese. durrrrlicious

hurt my hand so i couldn't really go for steak or crab on friday so they hooked me up with some really nice braised short ribs served upon some garlic mash. obviously fall off the bone and really good in a rustic sort of down home way. off menu ftw.
