on a global scale,
I think it'd be a toss up.

Potatoes for main dishes and snacks, and tomatoes for everything in between.

I know marathon runners who eat a sack of potatoes within a week. If your training, their very nutritious.

Btw, Poonani is a magical fruit!

So what chemicals does China put in their veggies or soil so they grow so much?
The veggies here don't come from China right?

This. It should be obvious.

Probably the same chemicals that are used here.

Some fruits and vegetables that you buy here are grown over there. Those tiny little mandarins are from China, as is a lot of garlic and ginger. I've also seen snow peas marked as "produce of China".
