If you buy something at Wendy's, the receipt is good for a free Frosty, after completing a short survey to get a code to write on the receipt to make it valid.

Infamous 10$ off Gillette Fusion razor coupon. Most shops sell this razor + 2 blade combo for like 12$+ but sometimes at walmart or zellers its like 9.99 or lower. Which makes the whole thing free. Did it 2 times now and works great.

Not really Free. but should there be another thread called deals too? lol
well this isnt a great deal but

This weekend, February 28 to March 1, you get a free $10 Quickpay Tim Card from Shoppers Drug Mart when you spend $50 or more.

heh its kinda free

Here's a great deal for movie-going students: Empire Theatres is offering a Student Combo, with Movie Admission, Regular Popcorn and Soft Drink for just $9.99. Generally the movie ticket alone runs about $12, so this is a substantial savings. The offer is good with a valid 2008-2009 Student ID (with photo) from an accredited University or College at Empire Theatre locations in Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, British Columbia and Antigonish, Nova Scotia (but not any other city in Nova Scotia). The offer runs from January 7, 2009 through April 30, 2009.

I shop at Shoppers every weekend, since it's a few minutes from where I live. It's hard to spend that kind of money in a place like that. There are a few exemptions. Like drugs, tobacco, etc. It does, however, translate to 20% off.

Same thing at Sears. Just about every second or third weekend they have those Super Bucks as part of Super Saturday Sundays or other promotions. 10 bucks off on any purchase totaling 50 bucks or more. I can spend 50 bucks easily at Sears. This is on top of sale prices, so you can pick up tools and shit in the hardware department for pretty cheap. The only exemption is on items that end in $xx.97. Those are the value items that are at the lowest possible prices already. I wait for their 50% off open stock sales, then get the additional 10 bucks off your purchase. I purchased a clearance item for $39.00. Was about to head out the door when I realized I had the 10 bucks off coupon. I bought 10 bucks more on socks. The socks, in essence, were free.

If you're grocery shopping, Superstore has weekly freebies. On occasion, they have 30 dollars off any purchase over 250 bucks. Buy a Wii or XBox or any other electronics for 30 bucks off. It can be combined with your groceries, so it's not that hard to get the 30 bucks off. On the other weeks, they have free food for spending X amount of dollars - anywhere from 75 bucks minimum purchase to 200 bucks.

I have a PC Mastercard points card. I buy gas at SS, too (5 cents off per litre). My wife and I have close to 700 dollars credit on our account. It can be spent on anything in SS.

Times are tough and people who know how to save are going to survive. Besides, with the economy the way it is, frugal is in.

I'm not too sure if this is consistent, but I'm on a Fido prepaid phone, and for some weird reason, I get 10 dollars worth of FREE air time if I don't top up for about 2 months. Fido sends an automated voice mail to the land line your phone is registered to, and then you call the number given back to get a code for the 10 bucks to top up your phone.

the superstore gas superbucks are great, my dad drives a big diesal truck for work and my mom gets like $75 off groceries. definitely a great way to save money if you drive a truck or have someone in the family who does.

For the gals (or for the guys who want to make their gals happy):

Apparently from the March issue of LOU LOU magazine there's:
Aveda: Free Makeup Session + $10.00 Gift Card

It's valid from February 20-March 19, 2009

What you'll need to call in for an appointment...it's apparently $55 value and includes a $10 gift card...and you get makeup advice. I think this is sweet sweet deal for the gals who likes makeup and likes free consultation

Enjoy!

Rev's girl

Another one (This can apply for guys or gals depending who gets the coupon from the magazine first lol)

The March issue of Lou Lou also have a coupon for FREE Starbucks tea inside.

Apparently there's a variety you can choose from (I dont drink tea from Starbucks but prolly quite a selection there)

http://www.colgate.ca/app/IrishSpring/CA/EN/Bodywash/IrishToYourGame.cvsp

Click on the little green t-shirt on the right for a chance at a free t-shirt. Right now, it seems like everyone is getting the email saying they've been chosen to get the free shirt... so I don't know if it's a mistake in their system or what.

Click on the green book on the left and answer some questions (don't think it really matters if you get them right or wrong) for a chance to get some free samples of body wash... once again, seems like everyone is getting the email (although for some reason the email is blank).

eHarmony.com: Free Communication Weekend (March 26-29)

Spring has sprung! To celebrate, eHarmony.com is having a Free Communication Weekend starting Friday -- from 12:01 AM on Thursday, March 26 until 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 29, you can enjoy free communication with all your matches. In our opinion, meeting someone a month after Valentine's Day is ideal. You've got months and months to get to know each other before the flurry of Thanksgiving (your family or theirs?), Christmas (ditto!), New Year's Eve, and finally Valentine's Day come around.

If you're interested in continuing what you started during the Free Communication Weekend, you can get 20% off a six month membership by using online promo code CJSPRINGPROMOGGHH. The code expires on March 31, 2009.
