My CityFido's contract will be end at April 13th 09', and i don't need this plan anymore. Today the fido guy called me and asked me if i want to continue this program since it's a reli nice deal cuz mine is the oldest cityfido plan, onliy $40 plus tax without any extra charges!! But I tell him that I really don't talk that much now so I want to cancel it, and then he told me that I can find anyone to keep this contract by under my name, only under the name, but that person who can still pay the bill by his/her own method. So is there anyone who is interesting about this plan?? All u can talk for $40 a month!!

im pretty sure u can't do TOWN's (transfer of ownership on ANY city fido plans)

not to mention when they make you sign a new contract, they prolly gonna up your rate plan i think.

please read...she clearly states that you can't transfer ownership of account BUT you MAY change billing address to yours

Yea you can't change the name but you can do auto withdrawl from any bank account. So the person in effect has your account and if they don't pay.. fuck's you over. Also if the person who's name IS on the account decided to, they can just get a phone and get a new sim and retake over the account.

Users: The Fido City Plan IIRC, is not transferable. The name of the plan cannot be changed.
